Strategy & Consulting
Strategic political and organizational consulting, constituency and power analysis, and campaign design.

Strategy, organizing, and field execution
We design and run field programs, build organizing infrastructure, and develop the leaders who sustain it.
Our Belief
Activation Strategies brings strategy, organizing, leadership development, and field execution together to help organizations turn relationships into measurable action and lasting capacity.
Our work begins before the first door is knocked and continues beyond the last voter contact.
What We Do
From strategy through execution, we build the people, systems, and infrastructure needed to move a program forward.
Strategic political and organizational consulting, constituency and power analysis, and campaign design.
Door-to-door canvassing, voter and community contact, field infrastructure, and the recruitment and training behind it.
Organizing and leadership development that builds capacity to organize again and again.
Measurement and continuous learning that improves the next program.
Why We Exist
Across the country, enormous civic energy already exists. We see it in Muslim communities, African American communities, immigrant communities, and powerfully among young people.
A protest can demonstrate energy.
A viral moment can capture attention.
Thousands of students can participate in an action.
An election can mobilize thousands of new voters.
But the strategic question comes afterward:
What remains?
Activation Strategies exists to help answer those questions.
From Energy to Organization
We see leadership that needs pathways.
We see energy that can become organization.
We see relationships that can become constituencies.
We see moments of mobilization that can become institutions.
We see emerging leaders who can become lifelong organizers, strategists, public leaders, and institution builders.
How Power is Built
Who We Serve
We work across constituencies, with particular experience navigating communities where trust, institutions, culture, language, and relationships shape effective organizing.
Institutions. Congregations. Young leaders. Businesses. Networks of trust.
Muslim communities contain congregations, institutions, businesses, scholars, professionals, young leaders, immigrant communities, African American Muslims, and extensive networks of relationships. We help organizations move beyond treating Muslims simply as a demographic category or election-time constituency and instead understand the leadership, institutions, relationships, and organizing capacity within these communities.
Deep traditions of civic organizing, faith leadership, institution-building, and public life.
African American communities possess some of America's deepest traditions of civic organizing, faith leadership, institution-building, political participation, and movements for social change. Our approach begins by respecting that history and existing leadership while helping partners strengthen contemporary organizing infrastructure, develop emerging leaders, connect generations, and build capacity around present-day objectives.
Trust, language, culture, informal leadership, and institutions all shape engagement.
Language is only one component of meaningful engagement. Effective organizing requires understanding trusted institutions, cultural context, relationships, generational dynamics, informal leadership, and the experiences shaping how people understand public life.
Transforming moments of engagement into long-term leadership and organizing capacity.
Young people frequently demonstrate tremendous capacity for mobilization. Our interest is in helping transform moments of engagement into long-term leadership: from protest to organization, participation to leadership, issues to strategy, attention to relationships, mobilization to institution-building, and moments of influence to durable civic capacity.
Our Theory of Change
Power is built through a sequence of relationships, leadership, organization, and disciplined action.
07 / 07
Relationships create trust.
Trust creates leadership.
Leadership creates organization.
Organization creates strategic capacity.
Strategic capacity enables disciplined action.
Repeated action builds durable power.
Durable power creates the capacity to shape what comes next.
What Should Remain
The campaign may end.
The protest may end.
The election may end.
The news cycle certainly ends.
The leadership, relationships, skills, and organization should remain.
Our North Star
Execution matters. So does what remains when the engagement is over.
The question that matters most
Did greater capacity exist
when we left
than when we arrived?
Start a conversation
We build the strategy.
We develop the leadership.
We build the infrastructure.
We execute the field.
We measure the results.
And we build from what we learn.
